Watermelons Anyone?!?!

If you have been a follower of my blog for any amount of time, you know that every summer I work in a strawberry patch with a friend of ours. Well, he decided that doing strawberry's was getting too hard for him. Last year, I basically ran the patch for him.
Well, he decided this year he would do watermelons. So, today was planting day. My son was off this afternoon, so he went with me. We planted 100's of watermelon plants. We both came home dying of thirst & red from the sun. Oh, and a bonus! We brought home a BUNCH of watermelon plants. So, I guess we might have some watermelons this fall!!!!
Still not getting a lot of stitching done. This stack splint is really slowing me down! I am working on my Beneath the Sunlit Sky. I also started my Mary Wigham SAL piece!
Have a wonderful weekend!!!!
Keep stitching!
Shari

Yumms, watermelons, and fresh, reminds me of my childhood when dad was coming home with one under each arm and me and my three brothers were munching on thick slices, red faced! Lovely. Can you do jam with it??? I wonder.
