Harvest Finish!

after finishing the triplets sampler over the weekend, I wanted a fun, quick, autumn piece to work on. I had just barely started this piece earlier in the month.
I pulled it out Sat. morning & worked on it as much as I could Sat. & Sun. I worked on it some while babysitting yesterday afternoon. I finished it this am!
It is Harvest by Bent Creek. It is an old pattern, but I thought it was perfect for this time of year. I stitched it on 28 ct. Earthen cashel by Picture this Plus. I subbed out most of the floss for Vikki Clayton's silks. A couple colors are dmc, as I didn't have a good substitution!
Now, back to some of my WIP pieces!
Have a great week & happy stitching!

Baby Sampler Finished!!!!

Woohoo!!! I finally finished the babies birth sampler. Only 13 weeks late!!! (they will be 13 weeks on Sunday, 3 months on Monday!)
I knew I was getting real close, so I was on a mission today!!! My goal was this weekend!! I made it & now I can devote the weekend to a SAL piece that has been neglected!
I spent 10 days helping with the babies earlier this month. What a wonderful bonding time for grandma & the boys!!!!
Now, it is grandpa's turn! He will make the frame for this piece!
Thanks for looking & have a great weekend!

Baby Sampler Update

it has been a while since I have updated my blog & even longer since I have shown a picture of the baby sampler. I had to take it out of the Q-Snap today, so I figured this was a good time to snap a picture & post my progress! I am also attaching a picture of the leaflet, so you can see what the sampler will look like when I finish it, with the exception of different names of course
I am excited that the border is done & the inside is stitching up quickly! I am really loving this piece now & I am anxious to get it finished!!!!
The kids were up here this week with the babies, so my stitching time was very limited! But, I had LOTS of quality grandma time!!! Those three precious boys have grandma's heart already!!
Have a great holiday weekend!!! I am hoping for a lot of stitching time!!!
Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world!
