Retreat Finishes

Good morning! I am rested now, after a wonderful weekend away!!!!! I went to a stitching retreat this past weekend. Well, actually, it was Thurs.-Sunday!

What a wonderful time! We met a fabric designer, we met a pattern designer, we received enough new free stash to last a life time, we had wonderful times visiting with friends, we shopped, we ate, etc....

We made 2 pieces into finished products. We were to do the stitching for them in advance, to help the time be used more wisely. We made a pinkeep of a cardinal chart. Most people used the same chart, but a few of us used a different one. I was one who used a different one. I used one that I had from Plum Pudding Needleart. It matches the pillow that I made earlier.

The other was a biscornu. I love how it turned out! I used a piece of fabric from Enchanted Fabrics called Siren's Call. It is perfect for this piece!

I am attaching those 2 pictures & I may update more as time allows! Thanks to ALL involved in the retreat!!!!

Shari, How cute. I have made pinkeeps, but never a biscornu. The one you made with the snowmen is adorable. What pattern is it?

Susie,
the pattern is a freebie! It is from Helga Mandl designs. Let me know if you can't find it.

Too cute Shari but they are even better in person. I enjoyed seeing you at the retreat. Hopefully it isn't half a year before I see ya again.

Since I went to bed, I didn't get to see your biscornu. It turned out great! It was really nice meeting you at the retreat, and thank you again for letting me use your phone after the hit-n-run. I appreciate it!
