Holiday Weekend Finishes!

Wow! You are going to think all I did was stitch all weekend! Actually, I did have a lot of stitching time. When you ride in a car for over 15 hours total, you get a lot done!
I finished the bookmark on Friday. I had started it a few years ago when I was teaching a group of teens the basics of stitching. It got put away when that was over & I forgot about it. I found it when I was organizing my room.
The Little House Travelling Stitcher was getting close, but that is what I worked on in the car, on the way down.
When we got down there, we had to go to Walmart. I just HAD to buy the latest issue of Cross Stitch & Needlework. We then went to Hobby Lobby so I could pick up some dmc floss & waste canvas. Back to the kids house we headed & the next morning, my other three finishes were done!!!
We went down to see our son & DIL. The triplets are growing!!!! She is 28 weeks along now. A normal triplet pregnancy goes 31 weeks. So...our grandbabies will be here soon!!!
We had a great time catching up with the kids. Since she is on bed rest, I fixed all the meals----things my son requested!!!!!
Thanks for visiting!
Also, thanks so much for all of the awesome comments on my storage unit. I appreciate them so much!!!

Oh My...look at all the pretties!
Your DIL must be doing very well if she's still on bedrest and not in labor. With my twins, I started labor at 28 weeks - was in the hospital trying to hold off their birth for 6 weeks then they were born at 34 weeks. I'll be thinking of her...and praying.

Woohoo! Great finishes Shari! Love the sweet little onsies. How adorable and soon they will be 'filled' with three wee ones. How exciting. I have seen the travelling stitcher on other blogs and yours is beautiful. Then to finish a UFO is always fun and I imagine your bookmark will be well used.

Hugs ~

Hi Shari, I can read your big grin in this post (Does that make sense??? I can tell you're smiling from your post. Does that make better sense???? LOL) I'm so glad to hear that mother and babies are doing well. I'm sure she and your son appreciated all the great meals you made them over the weekend.
Great stitching! I love those little onsies (sp?). Especially the little worm!
The LHN piece is beautiful!

Sorry I'm responding to this post so late, but I was wondering which part of your carrying case did you sew the Traveling Stitcher to? Mine must be different because I have to sew mine above the open case. Does that make sense?
