the finish is in sight!!!

I know, you are looking at it & saying "how can she say that?" But.......getting beyond that last section of white puts the end in sight, real soon. I have a deadline in my mind. We shall see if I can do it or not. I debated posting my update today or waiting until Monday, after I have had time this weekend to work on it, but I decided to update now, because I have other things I am working on today.......
I keep all my stitching finishes logged in an album. Well, I have been terrible about posting the pictures in it. So.....that is first on the agenda...in fact, they are spread all over the table right now.
So....I will show you my ornament piece, as of this past Wed. (I am only working on it when I babysit away from home) I am also showing you Christmas Village as of last night!!
Thanks so much for all of the kind comments on my last post. I will not be stopping blogging! I am just going to be more careful!
Have a wonderful weekend!!!!!!

Oh, you made wonderful progress, Shari! It is just such a joyful piece--I love the little little boy frolicking with his dog and the entire village scene. You're really making me want to start on mine :)

Great progress on your pear ornament, too!

I like your idea of keeping a log book of all of your stitching. My blog is kind of like a log book, but who knows if I'll even be able to operate a computer when I'm 90! Having it in a journal would be nicer...

Great job on your WIPs. Good Luck getting your journal all caught up. I keep a list on my computer for each year with pictures. Enjoy your weekend and hope you find lots of stitching time!

I am really loving the Christmas Village. I did fall in love with it when it first came out. I have too much on my plate right now to even think of buying the chart. Maybe someday. Keep up the good work!

Nice progress on the pear! It's good you're sticking with the Winter scene, it's too pretty to let lay in a drawer somewhere. As far as the comments, I mainly do my blog to compare my progress, if people feel the urge to comment, then so be it. I have a page counter on my page and it's just encouraging to see so many people have stopped by to read it. I do try and comment on the ones that take the time to do the same for me. I used to keep a paper journal of what I worked on, but since blogging that hasn't gotten much updating!

Shari, looks like you are making great progress. Keep up the good work. I am still pluging away on mine. I got a book in the mail yesterday that is filled with Thomas the trunk train carictures. Guess what my next project will be.

Great progress. When I'm very near to finishing something I can't stop, I feel a big urge to actually finisb the piece.
I also keep a stitching journal but it doesn't have pictures, it just says what I'm stitching on and how long it takes to finish it.
