Weekend Stitching

Wonderful Monday Morning to you all!
Nothing better than turning the computer on on Monday morning & having a very long, wonderful email from your son who is serving our country. Let me say, I haven't heard from him for over 2 weeks.......makes it even all the more special. If you think of it, pray for him. How hard this is for him....being away for so long....away from his wife, his triplets, his family, etc...
One of the Yahoo groups I am in did a weekend SAL this weekend. We were to pick a project on Friday evening & stitch the weekend on it. We were to stop at Midnight. I decided to start something new, since I had just finished a project.
I chose Snowy Pines by LHN. I stitched it on Earthen Cashel by Picture This Plus. (28 ct) I used the called for dmc colors.
I LOVE this little piece!!!! It has my favorite green in it & the little bear is just adorable. I finished it just before bedtime last night, so I didn't post here.
Have a wonderful week!!!! Thanks for stopping by & most of all for your kind comments! I appreciate each & every one of you!

Good morning to you, too, Shari! Hope this is the start of a great week for you :) I'm so thrilled for you that you heard from your son--two weeks is such a long time to wait for any sort of news when you are that far apart.

What a cute little finish--I adore that little bear. (Although I would definitely not adore him if I met him face to face!!) Are you going to finish it into an ornament now?

Cute finish, I'm really going to have to get some of those! Great to hear from your son. I know someone who just had a baby in Jan and he was home for the birth and then had to go back until August....how very hard to miss out on all the family and baby stuff!!! Thank him for us!
