Part One of a new SAL

I am happy to show you part one of a new SAL I am going to do. It should be a really relaxing piece to stitch. It is just a small amount, each week, from now until Easter. I fell in love with it at first sight & immediately went & found a piece of material that will work great. It is hand dyed by me....a real pale green....perfect for an Easter/spring piece.
You can find the SAL here, with the directions:

Have a wonderful day....be sure to get all of your Feb. stitching commitments done today!!!!! Tomorrow starts March!!!!!

I am doing the same SAL too. I stitch some of it last night while I was watching the Oscars. I am doing mine on a dark rose linen piece. Yours is very pretty and cute.

Dumb alert - I went to the link, and I think that the piece is just darling, but it left me a little confused. I could see the different squares, but I couldn't tell how many stitches per square there was except of course the chickies. How did you know how big a piece of fabic you needed? I think I would like to try it if I could.

This is adorable, Shari. It's a quick, relaxing stitch with each part divided into a few weeks.

Thanks for the link....I have the perfect fabric for this and I love the colors in it. It's a happy Easter piece

Your new start is so cute, Shari--that will be a perfect Easter piece :)

I can't believe March is here--thank goodness! I can see the grass again so the daffodils should be poking up through the ground very soon. It sure has been a long winter...

It's hard to believe that you have been stitching 25 years. That would have to mean you started when you about 3 years old. Dad

It looks so cute. I'm thinking of starting this sal also -- though I'm not sure when I'll be able to do it.

This is a wonderful SAL. Ansd if I didn't have already so much on my plate I would have joined as well, but it' s just a bit too much. So I'll just follow your progress on your blog.
