Who Says Exercise Can't Be Fun?

Did the title of this post get your attention??? I thought it might.
Many of you know, I have been walking on the treadmill very faithfully for over 2 years now. It has been great for me, but the time has come to add something else, since my weight won't budge any longer.
My mom & my aunt both have a Wii Fit & have told me how much they enjoy it. (especially my aunt) I have wanted to try it for a long time, but haven't had the money. Well, we got our tax returns this week & my husband said if I would like to get it, to get it. So...we did!!!
I am loving trying the new fitness routines & the games....games that DO work your muscles...wow...
Ok, off the exercise topic and onto stitching. Yes, I am still stitching!!!
Last week, I did a small piece for a recipe book for a bride to be. I forgot to take a picture of the finished project before I wrapped it & gave it to her. She is suppose to be getting me a picture & I will post it at that time. It was finish #9 for the year.
Once that was finished, I pulled out the April LHN sampler & I have been working on it since. I am happy to report that I finished it today. This one honestly has been my least favorite so far. I am not sure why. This was finish #7 of the 15 new project challenge & #10 for the year, so far.
Also this week, I kitted up a couple more projects..with the exception of a few things for each... I need to get to an LNS!!
Thank you all for visiting & I hope to build my blog back up now that I was so slack the past month...

This is adorable Shari. I love the colors. I guess we'll be trading the snow for April showers soon.

Wow, you're moving right along with all of your stitching.

The WiiFit is great. I've had one for about a year. It was a gift for my kids but I use it more than they do. Have fun!
Happy Stitching AND Exercising :)

Congrats on finish 10! Woohoo!

As for exercise - too bad there isn't something out there that let us exercise and stitch at the same time! Have fun with your new toy!

I used to exercise on the treadmill but developed a pulled nerve in my foot... I can't spell what I had. I had to give it up and take up walking or riding a bike instead. Love ur stitching! Have fun with your WiiF!

Good for you trying the Wii Fit, Shari! My sons have the original Wii and I tried the yoga program on it once--so embarrassing! My balance was horrid--they were all laughing at me! Knowing me, I probably couldn't figure out how to turn it on by myself :(

Darling LHN finish and with the umbrella and little birds it certainly portrays April well! You're sure getting a lot of finishes in this year, Shari--you go girl :)

You are really making great progress on all those new starts for the year! Congrats on getting the Wifit and using it! We borrowed a Wi for a year and never got it out of the closet! I do need to start walking the dog (weather permitting). I can see the extra weight on both of us!! LOL
