July Ornament Finished

Took me a while, but I finished my July ornament this afternoon. I really enjoyed this one & I love the daintyness of the over 1 areas! It is the Blue Ribbon Designs ornament from the 2007 ornament issue. I think this will make a really cute flatfold.
I will have plenty of things for my finishing day, when school gets back in session. I don't know what day will be finishing day this year, but I will have a bunch!!!!
We stopped at Joann's on our way to the state park yesterday & I got a package of the eyelets to do more floss tags!!!!!! I am excited about them!!
Have a great rest of the weekend!!!

It's a beautiful piece, beautifully stitched. I know what you mean about the eyelets. After seeing your photos and reading your post, I went ahead and ordered some eyelet making tools and several packages of eyelets in a variety of sizes, shapes and colors. I have already picked out a few charts to finish that way. Thanks for adding to my repertoire of finishing techniques.

Beautiful ornament. Are you going to stitch the new one in this month's JCS? I like it too and would like to try that finishing type.
I've officially given up on an ornament a month. Maybe eventually I'll get back to that, but right now its not holding my interest. I'm stuck on patriotic freebies!
