Frames, Totes, and updates/progress

Woohoo! The first 4 frames that my husband is doing for Debra S. are done. He finished them last night. We are very happy with the outcome. Debra gave me permission to show them on my blog. The stitching is her work, the frames are my husband's work. (note:the beach ball one is not completed...we are waiting to 'finish' it because it needs a button!)
We have never used spacers or glass in any of my finishes, but I love how these turned out, so I am sure that will be in future projects of mine.
I finally got my "what happens at grandma's" piece finished. I decided a tote bag was the way to go & I love how it turned out. I always tell the boys, "let's get ice cream...where is grandma's ice cream" so the little ice cream buttons are perfect!
I am showing my progress on my Pie Chart & also my 'grandpa' piece. These pictures are as of this am. I am hoping to finish both of them this week!! Time will tell.
Thanks for visiting & for commenting. Your comments mean the world to me, because living in an all male household, I don't get a lot of feedback on my projects!!!

The frames look great! Those little popsicle buttons are too cute! I also really like the pie design, I have never seen that before. Is it LHN?

I had the Hot Stuff chart all ready to mail today on my way home from work and of course I left it at home, but I made sure to bring it out to my car, so I will drop it off on my way home tomorrow afternoon, I didn't forget! lol

You sure have been busy, Shari--the idea of using your "Grandma's House" stitching on a tote bag is perfect! And that pie piece is looking scrumptious...

You're so lucky to have a husband who makes such nice frames--that sure would save a lot of money.

Have a wonderful week, my friend :)
