Parson Brown Finished

As I said in my last post, I didn't know how much stitching I would get done now for a while. Our grandsons arrived late morning, last Wed. I have been able to put in a few stitches every day, but some days, literally that....a few...
But, now that they have been here a while, they are getting back into Grandma's routine & grandma has a little more stitching time. Plus, they brought some Baby Einstein dvd's with them & oh my!~!!! My house gets silent quick if I put them in.....I can stitch a little at that time!!!
I put the final stitches in Parson Brown this morning. This makes 6 finishes for the month of January.....one that was a WIP, 4 of the 15 new ones and P. Brown was a start to finish AFTER the 15 challenge!
Thank you to each & every one who thanked me, for my son, for serving. It is so good to have him back in the USA.....we haven't seen him yet, but we have talked to him via the phone, text messages & skype!!!
Ok, better keep this short, incase the kiddos wake up!!! Have a great week!!!

Another great finish for you. Those DVD are wonderful. I used to put them on for my Grand Niece Mattie and you right, boy would she get all quiet and pay full attention to them. Now she is big into Dora and Mickey Mouse. They really do grow up way to fast.

It makes my heart happy to know you can Skype with your son. There is nothing like seeing for yourself that he's ok.

I like your recent finish. The shading on the snowman especially!

I think Parson Brown is really cute! This makes another chart I am going to have to acquire sometime - so many choices, so little time!

Glad you are enjoying the little ones, and I think it is great that Mom and Dad have some quiet time together!

Shari - I LOVE Parson Brown. I can see where you would fall in love with that pattern.

Isn't it funny how little ones can be so attracted to some things and others simply pass right over their heads. I think it is cute they enjoy the DVDs so much, and I'm sure you appreciate the quiet time.

So.....what's next on the stitching agenda? LOL

Oh, is that cute :) Not as cute as those little grandsons, but just darling!

You've really had a productive month, Shari--and that is even with the boys visiting--great job!!

Can't believe you have that many finishes already. I hope by now you have gotten to see your son, I'm not sure I could be that patient, even though I knew he was in the States again. I really hope he can transition well. I have a few "finishes" too but I can't share until the recipient gets them. One's a birthday present (a pillow) and one is a cube that she gave me the stitched piece and asked me to "do" something with it for her.
