If it would ever warm up & the sun would shine......
these flowers would be gorgeous......but as it is...it is so cold, the magnolia's are brown from being cold shocked....the lilacs are very slow in coming out, the redbuds are oh so very close to opening....just a few days of sunshine & warmth is all it would take.....am I asking too much????? It is May for heaven's sake!! I am normally in the middle of getting garden plants, sprucing up the yard, etc......it has just been too cold & rainy.....it is 8:45 am right now & still only 45 degrees....cold enough for the furnace, but there is NO WAY I am turning it on!!!
I am attaching the pictures I just took this am......froze doing it, but I had to get out of the house for a few minutes!!

I hear ya! And I am right there with you ...I had enough of this....rain rain rain rain and more rain.
Hope it warms up for you soon. xx
I hope that it will start to warm up where you are and please send some rain this way, there are fire's in the dunes in the Netherlands because of the dry weather the last weeks.
I think we will always wich for the weather to be differend than what we have.
Hugs Yvon.
A landscaping friend told me the farmer's almanac is calling for cool/wet until June. In June it is to be above normal temps and then back to cool/wet for the rest of summer.
I hope she's wrong about all the wet.
Guess this weather means more stitching?
BEautiful flowers Shari, i hope some warmth and sunshine comes your way real soon..... we could do with your rain though, my garden is desperate for it
love the flower photos. We had an extremely warm April but May Has turned cooler with a biting wind. Tonight they reckon it will be down around zero brrrrrrr.
We haven't had any rain for over a month so everything is tinder dry.
Such gorgeous colours of your flowers, Shari. Thanks for sharing.
I hope it warms up over there very soon and the rain will come to our place. It's been very dry for a couple of months now.
Hi,
I hope all that cold weather goes away and so you could enjoy some time in your beatiful garden!!!!
I feel your pain, Shari--it is 43 degrees here right now!!! Just never remember such a cold rainy "spring." But, at least our yards are lush and green :)
Thanks for the pretty flower photos--there is nothing like spring flowers...
I keep cutting the daffodils and bringing them inside because there is really not many other signs of live out there! Today was a bit warmer so hopefully this weekend we will see more leaves!
I'm way behind with my blog reading Shari so just seen the gorgeous flower picture! Hope you get some warmer weather soon!
Hi Shari, your flowers are so gorgeous; I wish some warm weather for you also! We have had some very hot weather already, and it is way to soon for that here; the last couple of days have been cool, breezy and gorgeous; not a cloud in the sky! Come on down!!!
Spring is really late here too, but with the cool temps we've had a lot of wind too - ugh! This week looks to be much improved so I'm hoping to get a lot done in the garden. :)
