Good Monday Morning!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about you, but I love Monday mornings!!! New start to a new week. Fresh start. I know, I am weird!!! But I love Mondays!!!
I have a few things to show & tell about today. First of all, I had a group of friends over to stitch on Sat. We had a wonderful time. There were 4 of us & I think we all made wonderful progress on our stitching, besides catching up. Some of us had not seen each other for nearly 2 years! Way too long girls!!!! We WILL do this again soon!!!!
I worked on my Monopoly piece that morning. I wanted to get the first square done, & then I would start a new project. I just HAD to start this one! I love it so much.
Backing up, I had emailed the girls the night before, asking if they had an idea what time they might arrive. If they were going to be here real early, I was going to run to town, to the farmer's market, to get apples for sauce. Well, the one emailed back & asked how many apples I needed. She has LOTS of apple trees & had apples to spare! So....she was such a sweetheart! She brought me LOTS of apples!!!!
We made 30 pints of sauce yesterday & I have apples on the counter for eating as well!!! What a blessing that was. It saved me so much money.
Thanks to all who look & comment. I know many read & don't comment. That is ok, but I really do love knowing who reads!!! So, I appreciate the comments so much!!! Thanks & have a WONDERFUL MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shari, yes, you are completely insane for loving Mondays but hey, I'll forgive you! That is a lot of gorgeous applesauce - wow!

I'm stitching on Autumn Harvest, too, isn't it such a cutie design?

Have a great week.

I have Autumn Harvest on my wish list. You got a good start on both that and your monopoly. Wow, applesauce looks scrumptious. Funny DH's coworker was here Friday and brought apples from her trees. I've made several apple crisp and hope to do a pie and apple bread. You had a good weekend! I can see being happy about Mondays you nut! LOL

Oh how fun, Shari!!! I would love to have a stitching circle at my home like that! But sadly, all of my stitching friends are far away from me. And making homemade applesauce?!!! How fun that must have been!!! I would love to learn how to do that myself one day. Your applesauce looks very yummy!!! Monopoly is looking excellent so far!!! Looking forward to watching your progress on it! :~)

Happy Stitching,
Margie

Your applesauce looks absolutely YUMMY! I want some!

Your WIP's look great. I plan to get out Monopoly and start it next year. DS collects the games, so I want to do it for him.
