Seasons Change..

..and so do so many other things in life! I looked for the song Seasons Change for my playlist, but was unable to find it. I wanted to add it, along with this post.
Many things are changing, besides the season.
One thing that hasn't changed is my love of stitching. I just have not had a lot of time to stitch the past week or two. School is back in session & that means I am back to babysitting. The kids are all the same kids, except a new addition this year. The one family added a 3rd child. I am learning to adapt to his schedule & getting him in a routine.
Another change is getting our youngest ready to leave for college. He did a year at the local community college, then sat out a year to earn money. He is now ready to go to school & live on campus.
What will it be like here, with no children home?
CHANGES!!! They are all around us!
Kitten update: when my husband left for work today, 3 of the 4 kittens were on the porch, waiting for food & water! I think they have adopted us! We still are wondering what happened to the 4th one.
I am posting progress pictures of the 2 projects I have been working on the past week or so. One is my Christmas Village by Victoria Sampler. I am doing it on Sassy's Winter Blues & I love it!!!!!
The other is Kindred Spirits by Charland Designs. I am enjoying this piece so much!!! I am planning to make a grouping of many of these Anne of Green Gables patterns. Stay tuned over the course of time.
Thanks to all who visit my blog & who comment as well!!! I love reading the comments & I love seeing new visitors!!! All are welcome!!!!!
Have a wonderful day today!!

I definitely know what you mean about trying to find time now to stitch now that school has started.
I have had difficulty finding time too.
Your projects are coming out beautiful.
Good luck with your son going off to college and the new kitties.

They are both lovely but I love Christmas Village best.

We are back at school on Wednesday and so the countdown to the next summer holidays starts again!

Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes! (Sorry, got that song in my head now...LOL)

Your WIP's are beautiful, Shari. Love the fabric you've chosen for both of them.

Yup, you've been adopted! Congrats on your new family members!

I love your Christmas Village! It's been cloudy today and with the air con on I can pretend it's cool outside so I've been in kind of a Christmas mood. I have no idea why??
I also love the updates on the kitties. I wouldn't have been able to turn them away either. :o)
I am still without my little niece here since her dad hasn't found work yet. I have been taking advantage of the stitching time. :o)
Hugs, Elaine

I love both pieces: gorgeous flowers on one of them and you can feel Christmas + winter spirit on the other.
